Top European real estate firm sets up Bahrain HQ

MANAMA, November 3, 2014

One of Europe's largest real estate advisory firms has set up its regional headquarters in Bahrain.

Chief executive Donald Bradley will lead Savills operations in the northern Gulf, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

He leads his top team with Christopher Sims as deputy chairman and James Lynn and Mike Williams as senior directors. It is the strongest professional team in the region and the board has more than 75 years combined experience in the Mena markets.

"This is a really exciting moment for local investors and we are specialising in high level advice, on valuations, market feasibility reports, strategic advice and cross border investment," Bradley said.

"This is a unique offering and includes marketing international landmark investment buildings - such as the Gherkin and Royal Albert docks in London, but also a showcase of luxury residential properties in the UK, Mediterranean, Monaco and Caribbean.

"Savills internationally has more than 27,000 staff, in 550 offices and has been rated Europe's number one firm by turnover for the last 11 years," he said.

Regionally, the firm is appointed as strategic adviser on the 2022 FIFA World cup Qatar, and numerous projects including a new landmark 100-storey triple tower scheme on the corniche in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

"We will be opening a magnificent showroom in the New Year which will complement the head office which covers services in Bahrain, Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan," Bradley said. - TradeArabia News Service
