Bahrain’s Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Minister Essam Khalaf signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Expertise France to improve planning and infrastructure in urban areas to expand towns.

This follows His Majesty King Hamad’s meeting with French President in August last year, during which he expressed keenness to work further with France to provide technical assistance to implement the Bahrain-French Town Planning Initiative and improve infrastructure in Bahrain, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
