Dubai Investments showcases at Sharjah property expo

DUBAI, February 10, 2016

Dubai Investments, a major investment conglomerate, is showcasing pioneering real estate concepts and projects of its subsidiaries Dubai Investments Park (DIP) and Dubai Investments Real Estate Company (DIRC) at a major real estate expo in Sharjah, UAE.

The ACRES Middle East 2016 Investment, Real Estate Exhibition and Conference will run at Expo Centre Sharjah until February 13.

The projects on show include Mirdif Hills, a mixed-use, self-contained community project being developed by DIRC, adjacent Mushrif Park in Dubai. The project, spread across 3.9 million sq ft and equipped with all lifestyle amenities, includes over 1,500 apartments, retail outlets, hotel and other commercial attractions.

Omar Al Mesmar, DIP general manager, said: “DIP is truly a breakthrough concept and its success has set new benchmarks in innovation. Today, DIP is the most sought-after destination for industries and commercial entities targeting investments in Dubai and for residents eyeing a comfortable community experience. DIP’s participation in ACRES Middle East is aimed at further leveraging its offerings and studying the growth potential on offer across new markets.”

Obaid Al Salami, general manager of DIRC, said: “The overall economic landscape is challenging and the real estate sector is witnessing a cyclical slowdown across the region. However, the fundamentals of the UAE real estate sector remain strong. DIRC is well positioned to capitalise on the emerging opportunities and committed to developing its real estate portfolio across the UAE.” – TradeArabia News Service
