A regular exhibitor at gulfBID, Haji Hassan Group is showcasing products and services from its portfolio of joint venture partners and divisions at the exhibition, which opened in Bahrain yesterday.

They include Bahrain Precast Concrete, Bahrain Blocks, Haji Hassan Readymix, Arabian Chemical Industries (Isola), Haji Hassan Reinforcement, Arabian Parts Company and Bahrain Pipes.

Headquartered in Bahrain with joint ventures across the GCC, Haji Hassan has an impressive track record of high-profile construction projects in the kingdom.

These include the Sitra Causeway, Durrat Al Bahrain, the North Manama Causeway, runway upgrades and new apron stands at Bahrain International Airport, and the Sofitel Bahrain resort.

For Durrat Al Bahrain, Bahrain Blocks supplied 1,792,730 concrete block pieces and 51,736 sq m of concrete pavings.

The group also participated in the building of the iconic Four Seasons hotel at Bahrain Bay, supplying coloured façade elements with acid washed, light and deep sandblasted finishes.

For King Hamad University Hospital’s Oncology Centre, the group was involved in the design, production, delivery and erection of approximately 8,230 sq m of 15-mm-thick precast cladding panels in white coloured concrete.

Haji Hassan’s business has been doing well with remarkable growth, according to a company spokesman, who adds that the construction industry is going through a period of growth with scores of projects and economic initiatives driving construction and infrastructure development in both the public and private sectors.
