Arab Architects Consulting Engineers Company has appointed Middle East Computer Services (Mecos) as a consultant for home and office automation services.

Established in 2005, Arab Architects has successfully launched more than BD250 million ($659 million) worth of projects since its inception, and it continues to serve clients using the latest technologies in architectural and structural engineering.

Part of the Bahrain-based Al Safar Group, the company aims to conceptualise ultra-modern structures, whilst keeping the estimated costs in mind and strictly adhering to international standards of structural designing, said a statement from the company.

With Mecos’ expertise, it will be able to provide the best products and latest technologies in automation for the projects it carries out in Bahrain, it added.

Mecos is one of the leading companies in Bahrain that provides home and commercial automation systems and security solutions that depend on connecting all electrical devices and appliances to a central control unit, thus providing users the accessibility to control lighting, air-conditioning,TVs and other devices remotely.

It also provides network video solutions and expertise in digital, IP and network video and analogue CCTV.

Arab Architects' operations manager Mohammed Araiqat said the addition of Mecos’ services and products is a delight to the company as this would complement its leading architectural role.
