Damac introduces new Akoya Selfie villas

DUBAI, October 8, 2016

Damac Properties has introduced the Akoya Selfie, a collection of stylish three-bedroom villas located in a vibrant golf community at its Akoya Oxygen master development in Dubai, UAE.

Akoya Selfie villas present young professionals, couples and families with a refreshing way of life, spacious living areas, low maintenance costs and modern amenities, said a statement from the developer.

Located in Akoya Oxygen, a world-class golf community, Akoya Selfie offers a world of amenities directly on residents’ doorsteps. From wide open spaces, breathtaking green escapes and retail therapy to a rainforest, hydroponic café and organic café, Akoya Selfie is a place people can envisage themselves enjoying their home and the lifestyle it offers.

Damac Properties is also presenting investors with the opportunity to buy Akoya Selfie plots, enabling them to build their own dream homes according to their preferences and tastes.

Akoya Selfie villas are presently on sale at The Ritz-Carlton and Dubai International Financial Centre, Samaya Ballroom (Dubai) and at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, Meeting and Conference Centre (Abu Dhabi) and at Al Ain Rotana hotel, Lulu Majlis in Al Ain.

On the new project, Ziad El Chaar, the managing director, said: "Launched under the theme ‘where I see myself’, Akoya Selfie is our latest project innovation that caters to the needs of millennials and families who seek to be part of an international golf community that offers an all-encompassing and refreshing lifestyle."

"Unlike most cities around the world, the millennial population in Dubai is quite significant and therefore there is a need to offer real estate products that suit their tastes and savvy lifestyle," he stated.

According to the Dubai Statistics Centre as of 2015, the median age of residents in Dubai lies between 30 and 34 years, falling well within the millennial segment of  25 to 39 years.

This equates to 1.2 million and corresponds to 48 per cent of the total population of Dubai. This high proportion of the millennial segment only reiterates their importance to the population of the emirate.
"According to a study on millennial first-time home-buyers commissioned by Dubizzle recently, 44 per cent of millennials intend to buy a home in the city within the next three years," stated El Chaar.

"Dubai’s ability to offer a tax-free, luxurious lifestyle was one of the main reasons the city was highly-regarded as a place to call home amongst western expats, and the  relatively  high salaries and disposable income makes purchasing a first home within reach for this age group,” he added.

Facilities at Akoya Selfie comprise private front and back gardens, separate living, dining areas and kitchen, plot title deed included with every villa, covered car parking, access to the world-class amenities of Akoya Oxygen as well as some homes overlooking the Golf course.

Akoya Selfie villas are located less than 20 minutes drive to downtown Dubai, Mall of the Emirates or Palm Jumeirah.

Priced at Dh1.2 million (326,614) and payable over three years with plot title deed with every purchase, each three-bedroom villa offers a fantastic value as well as an attractive investment opportunity.-TradeArabia News Service
