Spanish property firms to put up a good show at UAE expo

ABU DHABI, October 19, 2016

The upcoming edition of the International Real Estate & Investment Show (Ireis 2016), a leading real estate event in Abu Dhabi, UAE, will include a dedicated Spanish pavilion to highlight the best property investment opportunities in the country.

The eighth edition of the Ireis 2016 is set to run from October 27 to 29 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).

The 200-sq-m Spanish Pavilion will feature major developers from Spain spotlighting an extensive range of high-end investment opportunities within bespoke and increasingly popular areas of Marbella’s Golden Triangle and Sotogrande.

With its world-class infrastructure and proximity to Malaga Airport, the destination offers direct flights to major cities in the Middle East.

The companies that have confirmed their participation in the definitive property show include Sotogrande, FM Consulting, Gilmar, Otero Group, Costa del Sol Living, Villa Padierna Hotels & Resorts and La Zagaleta.

Antoine Georges, the managing director of Dome Exhibitions, organiser of Ireis 2016, said: "With its unrivalled climate, outstanding quality of life and friendly people, Spain offers unique investment opportunities and long-term value potential for investors from the Middle East."

"In convening major developers from Spain, Ireis 2016 will create an ideal platform to explore the latest investment opportunities in the Spanish real estate market," he stated.

Several Spanish lawyers will also be on hand to outline legal guarantees and offer valuable advice on matters pertaining to investment in Spain such as golden visas that offer extra benefits for buyers of Spanish properties valued at over €500,000 ($559,330). One of the key benefits is Spanish residency and citizenship for the buyers and their families.

Among the many reasons for the unprecedented Spanish presence at Ireis 2016 is the steadily improving property sentiment in Spain that experienced turbulent times following the Spanish financial crisis. The country is currently considered the only safe haven in the Mediterranean region, said Georges.

The upcoming edition of the International Real Estate & Investment Show is expected to draw the participation of more than 125 exhibitors from 25 countries, as well as over 11,000 regular, private and institutional investors, end-users, developers, and real estate brokers.

As part of the event agenda, Ireis 2016 will host an International Developer Agent Meet, an intensive day of carefully coordinated one-to-one meetings and informal networking sessions to showcase international property projects and facilitate partnerships between foreign property suppliers and local agents in the Middle East market, stated Georges.

In addition, the real estate expo will include country-specific presentations, business networking opportunities and investor meetings and also feature dedicated country pavilions of Spain, Turkey, India, Pakistan and the Philippines, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
