Albilad to showcase Water Garden City at Gulf Property Show

MANAMA, April 1, 2017

Leading master community developer Albilad Real Estate Investment Company will be showcasing its  upcoming mixed-use waterfront development, Water Garden City, at the Gulf Property Show which opens this month at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

A boutique showcase for the real estate and property development sectors, Gulf Property Show is being organised by Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE) from April 25 to 27 under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain.

The Water Garden City, located in the Seef district of Bahrain, is being designed and tailored to benefit primarily residential and commercial users. Albilad has teamed up with award-winning international architects HOK for this major project.

Albilad Real Estate Investment Company offers services and expertise in management and concept evaluation, planning and development, design, construction and operation maintenance of real estate properties in the GCC region.

"The Gulf Property Show is the one of most important real estate event in Bahrain," stated Zeyad Janahi, the general manager of Albilad Real Estate Investment Company.

"The presentation of  Water Garden City as a well-planned, sustainable, exciting and vibrant ‘Urban Lifestyle Hub’ where local residents, tourists and visitors can live, work, play, relax with friends and socialise as a family in a safe and truly modern city space is centre stage of our participation at Gulf Property Show," noted Janahi.

According to him, the three precincts of Water Garden City offer individual identities for residents and visitors. Each of the precincts is further divided creating a total of nine neighbourhoods, each with their own distinct appeal and key community features.

The first phase of the Marina Promenade dining strip, comprising family-orientated restaurants, in nearing construction completion, he revealed.

Prospective restaurant tenants will be moving in later in the year. The restaurants comprise a ground floor and a mezzanine seating area with sea views through large panoramic windows together with outdoor seating terraces.

"Lease agreements for the restaurant units are being negotiated and interested restaurant owners and operators are invited to submit their proposal at Gulf Property Show," said Janahi.

All the infrastructure requirements, he stated, have been completed for the Marina District including roads, electrical power, water supply, sewerage network and Batelco optical fibre high speed cables have been installed.

The Sky Garden villas are also nearing completion offering unique Marina frontage with unobstructed sea views of the Arabian Gulf, he added.

Janahi said the Sky Garden villas were a walking distance to the attractively-landscaped 'Beach Park' with a sandy expanse providing excellent recreational space for residents.

"Buyers at Gulf Property Show will have the opportunity to purchase a villa with immediate occupancy," he stated.

Water Garden City is looking forward to the Marriott Residence Inn, the world’s extended stay Serviced Apartments leader commencing construction later in 2017, he added.

Jubran Abdulrahman, the managing director of HCE, said the Water Garden City is part of Bahrain’s growing  real estate portfolio of innovative developments.

"The commercial part of the city provides opportunities to enhance the economic development of Bahrain in keeping with the Kingdom’s vision 2030," he stated.

Gulf Property Show 2017 carries with it the strategic sponsorship of Diyar Al Muharraq and Manara Developments. Also the expo has Bahrain Marina Development Company and First Bahrain Real Estate as Gold Sponsors and Khaleeji Commercial Bank and Fontana Real Estate as Silver Sponsors.
