Credit Agricole Egypt launches new site

Credit Agricole Egypt (CAE) has launched a revolutionary internet portal to help importers and exporters gain access to a wealth of specialised information uniquely tailored for international trade businesses.

The CAE Enterprises Banking Division unveiled the new site www.egypt-import-export.com, that will offer the most comprehensive analysis, research and resources for international business clients, said a CAE statement.

The website will facilitate to trade operators finding counterparties in 185 countries. The internet portal is CAE’s most recent initiative to provide traders, customers and non-customers, unparalleled support, service and financial expertise.

“We are delighted to launch this comprehensive trade related resource,” said Henri Guillemin, CAE’s managing director. CAE is committed to a new banking relationship - one focused on service that extends beyond traditional bank loans to become a trusted partner with our clients.

'Our new web tool provides importers and exporters access to a wealth of specialized information uniquely tailored to help international trade businesses stay abreast of business developments and gain the market insight they need,' he observed.

Available to clients and non-clients on free subscription basis, this website will help importers and exporters gain access to in-depth sector and country reports, immediate business alerts and robust databases that allow these enterprises to compete on the global economy,” he added.

CAE’s egypt-import-export.com will host country profiles giving information on 185 countries; market analysis for specific industries through 25,000 documents; emailed business alerts providing information about all new market developments.

The data base and calculation sheets allows clients to convert currencies, and determine out its custom classification numbers and to understand export and import flows, Guillemin noted.

The website includes a frequently asked questions section that will respond to client questions within 48 hours, he added.
