Qatar Q2 GDP grows 20pc to $27 billion

Qatar's economy grew 20.4 per cent at current prices in the second quarter to QR98.4 billion ($27 billion), the Gulf state's statistics body said.

Estimated second-quarter nominal gross domestic product (GDP) of the world's largest exporter of liquefied natural gas rose from QR81.7 billion a year earlier, the Qatar Statistics Authority said in a statement.

GDP fell from QR102.5 billion in the first quarter, it said.-Reuters
