Enoc hosts MBA students from UC Berkeley

Dubai, February 13, 2010

Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc), which is wholly-owned company of the Government of Dubai, recently hosted a delegation of 20 MBA students from the University of California, Berkeley.

The university visit was aimed at introducing the students to the framework of the UAE’s business environment as well as highlighting the country’s oil and gas sector.

Senior management from Enoc discussed various topics such as operations, accomplishments and business opportunities. The discussions also outlined the company’s growth potential in the UAE as well as in the region.

“It is an honour to receive students from one of the leading global business schools,” said Saeed Abdullah Khoory, Enoc Group chief executive.

“The visit comes as part of understanding the region and gaining knowledge of the financial and cultural environment of the UAE, especially given its position as the business hub of the Middle East,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
