Top BPO firm enters Middle East

Intelenet, one of the largest BPO businesses in the India, has announced its foray into the Middle East region with its outsourcing facility in the UAE.

The company's move comes close on the heels of its merger with Serco, a leading FTSE 100 international service company.

Intelenet said the 200-seater facility will be located in the Dubai Outsource Zone (DOZ), an apt base for businesses that engage in mid to high-end IT and BPO locations providing a highly facilitated infrastructure and environment conducive for outsourcing.

The company said the centre will start operations by offering services to clients in the telecom and banking and financial services domains. It will also offer multilingual capabilities in English, Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog and various other languages.

“The strategic foray in Dubai is in line with our growth story and adds a new regional dimension enabling us to expand our global footprint,” said Susir Kumar, CEO of Intelenet Global Services.
'The DOZ facility will help us establish an onshore presence and provide local employment opportunities,' he noted.

'Furthermore, the presence in UAE will serve as a hub that would help us reach out to other Middle East geographies and strengthen our existing proposition of providing end-to-end outsourcing solutions,' said Kumar  

Commenting at the launch, Tom Riall, executive chairman, Intelenet said, “We strongly believe in the superior set of capabilities and domain expertise that we possess as an organization.'
