The Bahrain Civil Service Bureau (CSB) is drafting a plan to unify the pay scales of government employees, reported our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.

An international consultancy firm has been commissioned to design the CSB pay scale restructuring project, said Shura Council and Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanim Al Buainain.

The initiative aims at ensuring equality and transparency in assessing jobs and the principle of performance-based wages in line with international standards, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
