Top geographic bee honour for Bahrain student
MANAMA, January 22, 2016
An eighth grade student of Bahrain School has won the 2016 National Geographic Bee competition. Chase Smith will compete in the Mediterranean District Geographic Bee later this year and comes closer to winning a $50,000 college scholarship, a lifetime membership in the National Geographic Society, including a subscription to the magazine, and an expedition, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
