Kalium launches new laser fat burner

Dubai, March 3, 2010

Kalium Group of Companies, a top medical and aesthetic equipment distributor, has launched a new breakthrough in fat removal with a laser system, presenting a complete alternative to liposuction.

Kalium’s Accent 980 Diode Laser System will give people the same results with significantly less downtime, a statement said.

Created by Alma Lasers, the FDA approved Accent 980 Diode Laser is the perfect wavelength for effective, minimally invasive laser-assisted lipolysis, the statement added.

The process is conducted under local anesthetic for greater patient appeal and causes the destruction of fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissue while simultaneously activating collagen production for skin tightening and contouring.

This makes the entire post operative lifting and tucking unnecessary, which greatly enhances patient comfort.

During administration, energy and heat are transmitted through an optical fiber and delivered to the subcutaneous fat. This results in complete destruction and melting of the fat which may be left in the body to be eliminated by the body’s normal metabolic processes or it may be sucked out.

Laser lipolysis using the Accent 980 has a dramatic effect on skin tightening with a faster recovery period and less bruising than conventional liposuction. In fact, it can be done solely to take care of loose skin, not only to remove fat, according to the statement.

The Accent 980 Diode Laser System has changed the way excess volumes of fat are removed. Liposuction can take about ten days of downtime, whereas the Accent 980 has barely a few hours of downtime.

Aside from the many advantages for patients, practitioners greatly benefit from the machine’s ease of use. It is very conveniently transported as the machine and its accessories fit into a small, regular sized briefcase, the statement said.

“The Accent 980 Diode Laser System is an innovative machine which has opened a new dimension in the sphere of fat removal and reduction,” said Nazih Khattar, managing director of Kalium Group of Companies.

“It provides a minimally invasive treatment option that is far less painful with outstanding results. In turn, the device is both patient and practitioner-friendly,” Khattar concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
