DHA shifts to automated system

DUBAI, June 13, 2015

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) said it has initiated its business process streamlining project by shifting to a completely automated system, and planned to complete the project by next year.

Salah Al Marri, the director of corporate excellence department said the project was being implemented in collaboration with a specialised management consultation agency in UAE.

Al Marri revealed that the project is planned to be completed by the end of February 2016.

It will include several awareness sessions on requirements of integrated management systems, gap analysis, review and preparation of quality health safety and environment (QHSE) policy, qualifying the documentation system in DHA and performing compliance auditing throughout the concerned departments of the DHA, said a statement from the authority.

“In order to make the day-to-day work flow management, business procedures and policies more efficient we will develop a Business Process Management (BPM) framework to enhance and improve the current practices,” said Al Marri.

“The implementation of this project has several diverse benefits such as more accuracy in implementation of policies and procedures and it will help move towards a paperless environment,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
