Emrill wins Dubai Healthcare City FM contract

DUBAI, April 24, 2017

Emrill, one of the UAE’s leading facilities management companies, has been awarded a contract by Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), the world’s largest healthcare free zone.

Under the new contract which extends until the end of 2019, Emrill will deliver integrated facilities management (IFM) services, including housekeeping and technical (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) as well as preventive maintenance in line with the free zone’s regulations.

The Emirati firm will also maintain DHCC-owned buildings and the free zone’s infrastructure.

DHCC said the contract, covering both DHCC free zone areas, was awarded to Emrill based on its market expertise and customer-focused approach.

The project's Phase One spread over a 4-million-sq-ft area at Oud Metha is dedicated to healthcare and medical education, while Phase Two, occupying a 19-million-sq-ft area in Al Jaddaf, overlooking the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary and the widest stretch of the Dubai Water Canal, is focused on wellness.

Alex Davies, managing director of Emrill’s IFM business, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious contract by Dubai Healthcare City. We are committed to delivering innovative technologies and ideas that extend far beyond the standard FM service."

While Emrill provides IFM services in common areas, DHCC’s clinical and non-clinical partners have the responsibility for maintaining standards within their facilities.

"Identifying the healthcare sector as a significant growth area, Emrill has developed the specialist capability necessary to deliver world-class IFM services within the sector," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
