GAC wins Lloyd’s maritime services award

GAC, the Jafza-based global shipping and logistics services provider, has won the 'Maritime Services' award at the 2009 Lloyd's List Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Awards (Meisca), the leading awards event for the region's shipping industry.

The company was presented the award in recognition of its adaptability and initiative in the current market through its new service offerings, such as GAC Ship Lay-Up Solutions (GLUS) for flexible, global lay-up services and anti-piracy GAC Protective Solutions, amongst other successes.

The annual Lloyd’s List Awards, established by the internationally acclaimed trade publication group, are considered to be benchmarks for excellence in the industry.
