Leroy-Somer Electric Power Generation, a division of Emerson and global leading manufacturer of industrial alternators, has released the Leroy-Somer TAL, a new series of products dedicated to the commercial/industrial standby market.

The TAL series covers a power range from 10 to 1000 kVA / kW with six different products: TAL 040, TAL 042, TAL 044, TAL 046, TAL 047 and TAL 049, said a statement from the company.

TAL products benefit from the recognised engineering know-how of Leroy-Somer and provide superior reliability and lasting performances. The series also benefits from engineering efforts to offer compact design, easy installation and optimal electrical performance, it added.

The series will be introduced at Middle East Electricity in Dubai, UAE, from March 1 to March 3.

Also on display at Middle East Electricity is ControlReg, the first integrated generator set controller and automatic voltage regulator to hit the market. This new solution is the fruit of a partnership between Leroy-Somer and DEIF, a leading generator control manufacturer, said the statement.

ControlReg combines full-fledged generator set controls (such as start preparation, start/stop sequences, fuel level) with typical automatic voltage regulator (AVR) features: voltage adjustment, U/f function, PID setting or motor soft start, it said.

The package, which includes an industrial alternator, cables and the ControlReg generator set controller offers a complete solution for generator sets manufacturers to ease and speed up assembly time and configuration, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
