Mazola plans further market expansion

DUBAI, February 29, 2016

Saudi Arabia-based Mazola, a pioneer of healthy and quality food products across the Gulf, said that it plans to expand into new markets during a special gala dinner recently held for its partners and distributors, in Dubai, UAE.

The dinner coincided with the company’s participation at Gulfood 2016, the world’s largest annual food and hospitality show, held in Dubai.

The gala dinner is part of Mazola’s annual calendar during Gulfood, which brings all of its leading distributors across geographies on a common platform.

The dinner was hosted by Abdullah Saeed Binzagr, chairman of Basateen Foods Saudi Arabia the trademark owners of the Mazola brand for the Middle East and North Africa (Mena), who also handed over various awards to Mazola distributors.

Binzagr said: “Mazola has a strategic expansion plan in place which reflects the company’s commitment to increase volumes through Mazola’s growing brand share, new product development and geographic expansion into new markets. This will help the company achieve even better business results and further enhance its share and position across the markets where it operates.”

At the dinner, Simon Gottfried, vice president of sales and marketing – Mena of Basateen Foods Saudi Arabia also encapsulated the company’s growth plans in 2016.

He said: “The company is on a threshold of an aggressive growth, and an even exciting period ahead in which we plan to offer even more consumers the opportunity to appreciate and enjoy the quality of our products.”

“Our company’s phenomenal growth in sales and distribution is due to the active support of the partners. The gala dinner during Gulfood offers a great opportunity to network with the company’s partners and discuss our future sales and distribution plans, as well as product development,” he added.

Hatun Madani, brand ambassador for Mazola and one of the chief guests at the dinner, said: “The success of Mazola’s products are primarily due to the world-class quality that it maintains across its entire portfolio.”
