Emirates Steel, the only integrated steel plant in the UAE, took part as a golden partner in the “Linkages Between Industries Event” organised by Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development today (September 20) at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (Adnec).

Emirates Steel is owned by Senaat, the UAE’s largest industrial conglomerate and a driving force for implementing the Abu Dhabi government’s industrial diversification policy.

Emirates Steel’s participation represented the company’s keenness to be part of the government’s mission to support economic diversification and growth and encourage engagement between the public and private sectors in Abu Dhabi, the company said.

The company’s delegation, led by CEO Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, included senior management. In addition to representatives from government entities and government-owned enterprises operating in the industrial field, more than 400 small and medium enterprises and media representatives took part in the event.

Al Remeithi said: "Linkages Between Industries Event is an excellent platform for potential investment opportunities and cooperation for both business owners and investors in Abu Dhabi”.
