Alliant Techsystems wins $28m Iraqi defence deal

BAGHDAD, December 4, 2017

US-based Alliant Techsystems has been awarded a $28.77 million firm-fixed-price modification to a previously awarded contract for logistic support for the Iraqi Air Force’s Cessna 208 fleet and the Cessna 208/172 trainer fleet, said a report.

Work will be performed in Iraq, with an expected completion date of December 31, 2018, added the Iraq Business News report.

This contract is a sole-source acquisition, it said.  

Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity, added the report.
