Workz restructures with new CEO, strengthens telecoms focus

Dubai, UAE, September 9, 2020

Mobile and IoT solutions provider, Workz Group, today announced a strategic corporate restructuring to strengthen its focus on the telecom market and improve the group’s growth and profitability.
 
Towards this, the company has appointed Tor Malmros as the groups new CEO. The move also sees the company headquarters relocated from Dublin to Dubai. 
 
A statement from the company said that its European entities in Turkey, Bosnia, and Germany will cease to be part of the company. Workz will continue with its remaining global operations in the UAE,
UK, USA, Hong Kong, Senegal and South Africa, it added.
 
The company has been recognised as one of the leading providers in IoT security and eSIM
technology. It is one of only six complete eSIM providers fully certified by the GSMA. Workz is also one of the world’s top 10 biggest SIM card producers and the largest manufacturer of recharge cards.
 
Tor Malmros is a co-founder of Workz and has been with the company since 1998 having previously served in various functions including CFO and co-CEO. He has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry for Nokia, Millicom, Mobifone, and Brightpoint.
