Fujitsu Siemens launches new notebook

Dubai, April 9, 2008

Fujitsu Siemens Computers has launched its new Lifebook S7210 Professional notebook.

The new Lifebook S7210 professional notebook is optimised for superior performance and reliability for road-warriors, and uses UMTS/HSUPA for fast data transfer, a spokesman said.

The Integrated UMTS sets the standard for fast and simple Internet access while on the move as WiFi or wireless access is not required for connectivity. In the 18 months since this technology has been available, Fujitsu Siemens Computers has become the European market leader in notebooks with integrated UMTS, said Haseeb Soleja, product manager- volume products, Fujitsu Siemens Computers.

“Immediate access to email and other corporate information can be the deciding factor in winning new business for executives who travel frequently in the Middle East region,” Soleja said.

Weighing only 2.2 kg, the Lifebook S7210 is one of the lightest 14.1-inch notebooks with a modular bay. The Intel Centrino Duo processor technology with Intel 965GM chipset enables efficient multitasking and significant increases in productivity. Integrated WLAN and Bluetooth, as well as UMTS/HSUPA, ensure high-speed Internet access. The Lifebook S7210 also comes with an optional integrated 1.3 mega pixel webcam to facilitate video conferencing on the move, he said. - TradeArabia News Service
