Zotac to unveil winning range at Gitex

Dubai, October 11, 2008

Zotac International said it will showcase its winning range of VGA cards and motherboards as well look for new channel partners at the Gitex Technology Week 2008.

Zotac is one of the largest producers of nVidia VGA and motherboard solutions worldwide.

Zotac said it plans to showcase its latest overclocked and water-cooled graphics cards, display its existing range of best-in-class VGA cards and motherboards, demonstrate Zotac Nitro - the world's first 'external' hardware over clocking controller, and meet with customers and partners at the mega technology exhibition.

"The Middle East market is very important for us. Gaming has taken off on a large scale among the region's youth and more and more gamers expect gaming to provide more realism and true to life performances.

"Gitex will be a perfect platform for us to demonstrate our latest award-winning nVidia based products that will help gamers get the best out of their gaming PCs," said Carsten Berger, marketing director, Zotac International.

Zotac will showcase its latest high-performance graphics card such as the Zotac GeForce 9800 GTX+ AMP! Edition, its new generation graphic cards such as the Zotac GeForce GTX 280 and Zotac GeForce GTX 260², and its motherboard range at Gitex.

These quality products further reiterate the lead that Zotac has established in the region's gaming market as the provider of the fastest and highest performing gaming complements.

Alluring visitors to the stand will be two demo gaming PC units which will be ready for test drives with the latest graphics.

Zotac will also use the opportunity to highlight its recently unveiled Zotac Nitro which is the world’s first ‘external’ hardware overclocking controller for Zotac GeForce series graphics cards simply connected to your USB port.

Zotac Nitro allows users to dynamically overclock their GPU without exiting full-screen 3D games and applications.

Overclocking with the Zotac Nitro provides an instant performance boost in 3D games and applications with a press of a button.

Nitro provides owners of Zotac GeForce graphics cards with instant access to GPU core, shader and memory clock settings in a stylish device. Additionally, Nitro enables users to adjust the GPU fan speed and monitor GPU temperature.

Included as part of the showcase line-up will be the just launched two new GeForce 9-based graphics cards from the Zotac GeForce Synergy Edition lineup - the GeForce 9800GT Synergy Edition and GeForce 9600GT Synergy Edition.

These cards deliver the power of nVidia's Unified Architecture, PhysX and PureVideo HD technology to value price points.

Zotac will also be looking to further strengthen its partner reach in the region. It will look for resellers in specific markets of the region where it wants to bolster its presence.

"We plan to use Gitex as a forum to hold talks with potential new partners besides interacting with existing ones. We are specifically looking to add new resellers for our extensive product line-up in markets such as North Africa, Egypt and Saudi Arabia," Berger added.

Having made significant strides in the region through its successful partnership with Sky Electronics, Zotac will be looking to consolidate further on that success. Gitex will serve as a perfect opportunity for the innovative manufacturer to strengthen its brand visibility as well among the region’s gaming community.

Zotac will be exhibiting along with SKY Electronics at Stand C-10-1 at Sheikh Maktoum Hall. - TradeArabia News Service
