Koenig’s Mideast operations grow 100pc

Koenig Solutions, a leading IT training provider and a preferred offshore training company in India, said its Middle East operations grew 100 per cent, achieving a gross revenue of around Dh15 million ($4.08 million) for the fiscal year 2015.
 
The company’s diverse portfolio of offshore training courses and certifications has enabled a paradigm shift in the cost of taking these IT training programmes and undergoing certification, said a statement.
 
Feeling upbeat with the entry of this year, Koenig has reaffirmed its commitment towards addressing the continuously increasing demand for offshore training in the Middle East.
 
The recent industry reports have shown that the IT industry continues to move at a fast pace, resulting in the high demand for professionals with skills in the development and deployment of the latest software. 
 
To address this requirement, a large number of these professionals have enrolled in training programs offered by offshore training centres like Koenig, which allows them to be up to speed with the latest technological advancements that range from hardware to software. 
 
According to the company's senior executives, Koenig's Dubai training centre witnessed a 140 per cent growth, some of the course offerings that were in demand in the region included EC Council Certified Ethical Hacking, Cisco Security, Microsoft Sharepoint, and Microsoft Dynamics.
 
Subodh Chaudhary, general manager, said: “There is a huge demand for IT training and skill development in the UAE and in the Middle East region. It is one of the essential ingredients for UAE’s future economic growth as the country transforms into a diversified and internationally-competitive economy.

The students coming to Koenig will not only be able to improve and further hone their IT skills but will also be given the opportunity to tour one of the most stunning and most modern cities in the world, said the statement.
 
Koenig executives further pointed out that students coming from outside of the UAE are expected to add volume to Dubai’s business flow via their hotel stays, shopping sprees, and other leisure activities during their training period, it said.
