Emirates Data Clearing House (EDCH) a business subsidiary of UAE's leading telecom services operator Etisalat, has signed a contract with Saudi Telecommunication Company - Mobile Business Unit (Al Jawal), the sole GSM operator in Saudi Arabia.

As per the agreement, EDCH will provide a single point of support for STC - Al Jawal's mobile roaming facility, bringing simplified roaming, better utilisation of available resources, said a statement from the company.

"This agreement is proof of EDCH's growing reputation amonst regional GSM operatos," remarked Ahmed Almeyhas, the company manager.

"We have nearly doubled our client base in the last 12 to 18 months because GSM operators know they can expect the highest standard of service from us," stated Almehyas.

"The total number of GSM operators using EDCH's services is currently nearly 30, including operators all over Africa and the Middle East," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
