Design firm opens regional office in Bahrain

Design worldwide partnership (dwp), an international architectural and interior design services firm, has expanded dramatically following the opening of its regional base in Bahrain.

The firm has increased staff numbers from 12 to 45 since the start of the year as it acquired more blue chip clients and contracts, it was revealed at a reception the company hosted for clients and suppliers at ots new Bahrain office in Adliya.

'The partnership has offices across the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region and dwp Bahrain in now established as the regional headquarters operating not only in the kingdom but further a field as well,' said managing director and regional director Middle East Kristina Zanic.

'We have been expanding rapidly because, I think in the past Bahrain has lacked good designers.'

dwp's clients include Zain, Capital Land, the new Capital Club at Bahrain Financial Harbour, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and BBK. It recently landed a contract to do the design for a Holiday Inn hotel near New Delhi, India.
