Vahid in marketing deal with Monte Carlo firm

Bahrain-based Vahid Associates Brand Futurists, a major branding firm, and Sirius Group, a Monte Carlo sports marketing company, will team up on promotional activities in the corporate and sports marketing arenas in the Middle East and Europe.

The two enterprises, as leaders in their respective areas of communications and promotional marketing, will market and cross-sell their products and services, forming a collaborative link between Monte Carlo and Manama.

“The Monte Carlo Manama bridge”, as Vahid Mehrinfar, executive principal of Vahid Associates, calls it, is poised to becoming a meaningful highway, said a statement.

“There are many reasons why Monaco and Bahrain, as small and dynamic countries, can form an effective bridge,” said Mehrinfar.

“As culturally different as they may be, both benefit from a forward thinking national ideology and an evolved social fiber. And of course, hosting the F1 Grand Prix annually has given their dynamic outlook a strong impetus,” he added.

Sirius founder and chairman Kory Tarpenning, an American and two-time Olympic pole-vaulter, sports marketeer and entrepreneur, said: “When I visited Bahrain last year on Vahid’s invitation, I was fascinated at the level of sophistication that was to be found amongst the people.”

“Having become used to the charisma of Monte Carlo, I was delighted by Bahrain’s natural charm and lifestyle.”

“The environment in Bahrain is very conducive to bringing bigger and better international sporting events to the island, especially now that Bahrain’s national football team is knocking on the World Cup’s door, and I believe the time is ripe for both sides to take advantage of this opportunity,” added Tarpenning.

Vahid Associates and Sirius will also offer VIP event management, bringing Hollywood, European and Middle Eastern talent to the table.

The first VIP joint venture project for Vahid Associates and Sirius is already under preparation for a Paris launch.

Through the institution of their new partner office in Monte Carlo, Vahid Associates is effectively expanding their communications-related activities and culture-based branding offerings to reach the European market. – TradeArabia News Service
