Batelco Hearts & Minds Committee members distributed chilled bottles of water to construction workers at their work sites recently.

The Hearts & Minds Committee comprises a number of Batelco staff who volunteer to assist and support various organisations in the kingdom.

The group spent one of their days off travelling to a number of work sites to deliver the chilled water to hundreds of labourers.

“The weather has been unusually hot recently with record breaking temperatures so our Hearts & Minds team decided this would be a nice initiative,” said Batelco Group general manager Media & Government Relations Ahmed Al Janahi.

“The workers and their managers were really surprised and so happy to know that there are many people who appreciate the difficult weather conditions they have to endure,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
