Wafi appoints new F&B general manager

Dubai, August 10, 2010

Wafi Group, which owns top dining destination Wafi restaurants in Dubai, has promoted Mark Lee to general manager of the Wafi Hospitality and Food and Beverage division.

Lee will be responsible for two hotel properties - The Arabian Park Hotel and The Park Hotel Apartments - as well as 13 restaurant and bar outlets located at the Wafi complex.

Lee joined the Wafi Group in 2001 as general manager of the Planet Hollywood complex, overseeing the operations of Planet Hollywood, Ginseng, Seville’s and Planetarium.

Lee has an extensive background working with international food and beverage operations and franchises, and has worked in several international companies, a statement said.

“My first priority in my new role is to ensure that we consolidate all our sales, reservations and operations teams to jointly market and promote both hotel properties, as well as our food and beverage outlets,” said Lee.

“I look forward to raising the standard of our products and services to an even higher level over the coming months,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
