H&K in Bahrain conference partnership

Manama, October 11, 2010

The Second Annual Corporate Communications Conference 2010, a major industry event to be held in Bahrain next month, has signed up leading communications consultancy Hill & Knowlton (H&K) as partner.

The regional conference is focused on meeting the specialized branding, communications and marketing needs of a fast growing economy, said the event organisers.

This year's conference, entitled 'The crisis is over, What Next?' will be held from November 23 to 25 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Bahrain.

'We are proud to be associated with H&K, one of the leading international communications consultancies in the world and a pioneer in Bahrain. It will play multiple roles at the event,' he added.

David Ingle, head of Digital, Middle East and UK for H&K will deliver a key-note speech on Social Media, he said.

'We welcome H&K as our valued partner once again and we look forward to working closely with them over the coming years. This further reinforces the international scope and quality of the thought leaders who will be sharing their insights and expertise with the delegates.”

Commenting on the conference, Julia Atherton-Dandy, deputy general manager, H&K Bahrain said, 'We are pleased to participate in industry events such as this and I am looking forward to presenting our ideas and thoughts with the delegates on key topics such as digital media and social networks.'

'As we are emerging from an economic slowdown, events such as these are important to gather, share our thoughts, take stock and plan for the future. The communications industry has a critical role to play in setting the right tone of communications to match the economic recovery,' she added.

The event is expected to draw the largest gathering of branding, marketing, communication, PR Gurus and thought leaders in the region.-TradeArabia News Service
