Dubai’s leading Italian furniture brand Natuzzi, in association with Tashkeel, is hosting an exhibition of artworks by the talented Lateefa bint Maktoum at the Natuzzi show room on Sheikh Zayed Road. 

The exhibition will showcase a collection of artworks by Lateefa featuring photography and digital collage.

Lateefa bint Maktoum is a prominent Emirati artist, whose photographic work beautifully incorporates the same technique of mixing and blending as she uses when painting. Lateefa treats every image as an intimate painting or collage, meaning each final composition is a single image that is created from many photographs that she has taken in different places, times and moods.

This results in a unique image that becomes its own story that the viewer is invited to examine and evaluate, creating an intriguing exhibition, said a statement.

Tashkeel, founded in January 2008 by Lateefa bint Maktoum, is an independent resource for artists and designers living in the UAE and provides a platform for the art community to interact, contributing to the development of the industry.
