RAK reconstitutes judicial council

Ras Al Khaimah, May 25, 2011

Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has issued an decree reconstituting the Ras Al Khaimah Judicial Council.

As per the decree, a new judicial council has been reconstituted in Ras Al Khaimah under the chairmanship of Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah.

The new members are Sheikh Abdullah bin Humaid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, chief of the office of RAK ruler, Ahmed Mohammed Al Khatri, chairman of RAK Courts, Jihad Quzmar, legal advisor to the RAK government, Yahiya Jalal, president of the Court of Cassation, Hassan Saeed Al Habsi, attorney general, Ibrahim Al Manaie, president of the Court of Appeal and Hassan Abu Al Rughah, president of Court of First Instance.

The meeting of the new council will be convened at the invitation of the chairman soon, said the royal decree.-TradeArabia News Service
