Unisono opens media unit in Bahrain

Unisono, Bahrain's leading independent full-service agency, has launched its strategic media planning and buying department.

The department will be headed by Yasser Akram.

This latest announcement follows the launch of Unisono's public relations and digital marketing departments in April and May this year and further establishes Unisono's position as a brand-centric agency providing integrated strategic solutions.

"When media and creative teams work in isolation, even brilliant creative work can suffer as it is not portrayed effectively through the media," managing director Pennie Nixon said.

"By bringing media in-house we will be able to offer our clients an integrated and creative media solution which will add value to their campaigns. The market needs innovation in media rather than more recycled media plans. Akram has a cumulative experience of more than 12 years in the advertising industry, of which seven years are in the media industry.
