Emirates Park Zoo unveils special Eid package

ABU DHABI, July 5, 2016

Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Park Zoo and Resort said it has organised a comprehensive full-day package for a memorable and fun Eid for its customers - mostly families.

The guests will get to spend a day amidst animals and wildlife during the Eid holiday, as part of a special package.

The morning introduces guests to the residential giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baby goats, sheep and other miscellaneous animals where they indulge at the petting zoo and feeding stations, said a statement from the zoo.

Grass bundles and milk bottles are handed out to the visitors, who then interact with the animals under the supervision and guide of the zoo keepers.

The evening offers a multitude of fun shows at the Heritage Village and Elephant Arena following which guests can participate in animal photo sessions with the elephants, birds of prey, parrots and reptiles.

Aaliyah Hana, CEO of Emirates Park Zoo and Resort, said: "The holiday is ideal for families and groups of friends who harbour a curiosity and interest for animals and the wildlife. Moreover, the experience promises adventure and fun."

The highlight of the package is the riding sessions offered for zoo goers who will get to choose between horse, camel and pony for a memorable experience atop the friendly animals, stated Hana.

As the sun sets, visitors will get to participate in the educational programme with the Animals of the World Show, and conclude the day with an interactive tour of the exhibits of bears, tigers, cheetahs, lions, leopards and hyenas, she added.-TradeArabia News Service
