TAC wins Mazda pick up order

Muscat, March 5, 2011

Towell Auto Centre (TAC), a leading Mazda distributor in Oman, said it has been awarded a contract by Sasal Trading (Ibri) to provide eight units of BT-50 2600 double cabin pick ups for their fleet.

The athletic Mazda BT-50 brings a new level of sophisticated styling and solid performance that heightens commercial and personal use, said a statement from TAC.

Its design concept is modelled around a sporty and athletic theme that aptly befits the new-generation pickup, and it comes with all the toughness of its predecessor along with a stunning modern attractiveness in its new exterior and interior avatar, it stated.

The Mazda BT-50 also sports larger and thicker doors, chunkier tailgates and taller cargo box panels carved on a muscular body with flowing curves. Its chrome-plated parts lend a classier appearance and make the BT-50 a choice for every motor enthusiast on nearly every terrain, the TAC statement said.

Mohammed Sajid, business manager, TAC, Ibri said, "This is the second consecutive time that we have managed to get Sasal Trading on board and this is a great achievement for us. The Mazda BT-50 is a spacious and trendy pick up for off-roading and is the perfect vehicle for the mean and rugged roads of Ibri."

Annurag Chawla, head of Marketing & Communications, TAC said, "Mazda BT-50 is one of our most popular models; the primary reason being its low maintenance, reliability, great resale value, easy availability of parts, efficient quality of service and our network of Mazda service centre across the country."

"Another plus for the Mazda BT-50 and our complete bandwagon of vehicles at TAC is that all our showrooms and service centre offer a genial, customer friendly environment and all parts and services are available under one roof," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
