Traffic chaos fear in Bahrain

Manama, March 13, 2014

A Bahraini MP has warned against an alarming increase of vehicles in Bahrain.

According to new statistics, the number of registered cars last year soared to 544,808, up 39,659 on 2012, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Sawsan Taqawi said the burgeoning increase would put enormous pressure on Bahrain’s road infrastructure, causing further traffic congestion. - TradeArabai News Service
