Nissan sales hit top gear in Bahrain

Japanese automaker Nissan achieved record sales in bahrain last year mainly driven by the demand for its affordable sports car 370Z which boasts of a 328-horsepower 3.7-litre V6 engine.

YK Almoayyed and Sons, the exclusive Nissan distributor in Bahrain, said the 370Z has seen 317 per cent increase in sales across the country in 2013, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

"The iconic Nissan 370Z is an award-winning and coveted sports car renowned for its excellent handing, legendary performance and great agility," remarked Paul Baker, the general manager of YK Almoayyed and Sons.

The new 370Z features a refined front fascia design with LED daytime running lights, a red reflector for rear fascia and new 19-inch aluminium-alloy wheel design.

The Nissan 370Z is available with a 328-horsepower 3.7-litre V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift technology. The car comes with a starting price of BD12,995 ($34,103).-TradeArabia News Service
