RTA opens new training centre for drivers

DUBAI, January 9, 2016

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the opening of a new branch for training and licensing drivers in Dubai, UAE.

RTA’s Licensing Agency has endorsed the launch of the new branch which is affiliated to Dubai Driving Center, one of RTA certified model driving institutes, said a statement from RTA.

The new branch has started at Al Quoz Industrial Area 2 nearby Al Khail Gate.

The centre, which spans an area of about 400,000 sq m, is the 15th RTA facility providing drivers licensing services. It avails RTA’s clients training & testing on all types of driver licences, it added.

On the new branch opening, Ahmed Bahrozyan, the chief executive of RTA’s Licensing Agency, said: "As the Licensing Agency is keen on keeping pace with the sweeping developments witnessed by Dubai in various fields, we are making every effort, in collaboration with our strategic partners, to cope with the rising numbers of driver licence applicants."

"This prompts us to beef up the number of driving centers at world-class standards to ensure customers are happy, and at the same time promote the sound driving principles," stated Bahrozyan.

"The new branch fulfills the requirements of model driving institutes, thus cuts short the waiting time for a large number of customers before starting the training & qualification needed for driver license test in accordance with standards tailor-made to ensure potential drivers have been well trained to drive safely on roads," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
