Abu Dhabi to shut two LNG trains for maintenance

MILAN, March 4, 2015

Abu Dhabi's Adgas will shut down two of its liquefied natural gas (LNG) production plants, or trains, from March 15 until April 19 for routine maintenance, two sources with knowledge of the matter said.

The two 1970's-built trains have a combined capacity of 2.1-3 million tonnes per annum.

A third train at the facility will remain in operation.

Japan's Tokyo Electric Power Company is listed as the sole buyer of Adgas LNG output, according to the International Group of LNG Importers.

Adgas launched a tender last week to sell a partial LNG cargo in mid-March last week.-Reuters
