Planmeca, a leading designer and manufacturer of a full line of dental equipment, including dental care units, panoramic and intraoral X-ray units, and digital imaging products, has opened an office in Dubai as part of its expansion strategy.

The new Planmeca showroom and support services are available for dental professionals and Planmeca distributors in Dubai. Area manager Haisam Chahbandar will head the new office.

Planmeca Gulf covers UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, said a company statement.

“The distributors in the area are delighted that we have brought Planmeca closer to them. We are in a central location to our client countries and therefore it is easy to visit us even at short notice,” said Chahbandar, who has over 15 years experience in sales and medical and dental equipment service.

“The main goal of Planmeca’s sales support offices is to ensure visibility for the company’s products,” explained Jouko Nykänen, director for Export Sales.

Planmeca Gulf fulfils the aim with their showroom presenting an extensive product selection as well as with a determined cooperation with their contact network.
