Amadeus, a leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, is set to roll out an array of products for travel agencies, airlines and hotel industry, at the upcoming Arabian Travel Market (ATM).

The leading travel and tourism exhibition in the region, ATM will run from May 5 to 8 in Dubai.

Amadeus will have a major presence at the ATM and visitors will get an opportunity to see live demos on the latest products and gain more information on these solutions at the Amadeus stand, said a company official.

"The Middle East region is one of Amadeus' fastest growing business territories. Today more and more travel agents rely on Amadeus to run a profitable business," said Fernando Cuesta, executive director, Amadeus MEA.

"This is our eighth year as exhibitors at ATM and in a short span of time we have seen a marked increase in the adoption of our solutions by the region’s leading names in the travel and hospitality industry.

"We are confident that we will continue to expand and demonstrate a healthy growth rate in the coming months," he added.

The Middle East is a key strategic region for Amadeus due to the growing profile of the regional travel industry and its future positioning in the worldwide arena.

Amadeus has heavily invested in the region and is today the only GDS with presence in every market in Middle East.

Most recently, Amadeus launched direct operations in Syria and Yemen, bringing technology expertise and global business standards to the two upcoming markets.

In the Middle East region, Amadeus System is installed on more than 11,600 travel agency terminals and eight airlines have chosen Amadeus solution as their own sales and reservation system, including Egypt Air, Etihad Airways, Middle East Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Qatar Airways and Tunisair.-TradeArabia News Service
