Boeing has appointed Saffana Michael as the communications manager for its commercial airplanes unit in the Middle East, India and Central Asia.

Michel will support Boeing’s growing presence and business objectives across the region and will work with Marty Bentrott, Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ vice president – sales for the Middle East, India and Central Asia.

She will be based at Boeing’s Middle East headquarters in Dubai.

“The Middle East, India and Central Asia include some of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world and communications remains a key component of our efforts to strengthen relationships and engage with important stakeholders,” Bentrott said.

“We are pleased to welcome Saffana to the team and look forward to drawing on her vast experience and knowledge, particularly of the Middle East,” he added.

With more than 10 years experience as a public relations professional in the Middle East, Saffana joins Boeing from Weber Shandwick Mena where she led the agency’s aerospace and technology practice. – TradeArabia News Service
