Qatar Airways unveils 3-day special offer

Qatar Airways has launched its three-day 'Bigger World Promotion' to celebrate its oneworld Alliance tieup offering customers a 25 per cent discount on all its destinations.

The Bigger World Promotion begins at midnight on November 11 and ends at 11:59pm on November 13 (all times local in each market).  Savings are based on round-trip/return fares via Doha.

Qatar Airways customers can instantly purchase tickets for travel beginning from November 14 in advance of the holidays through June 19, 2014, said a statement from the national carrier.

From London to Melbourne or New York to Delhi, more than 130 destinations Qatar Airways flies are applicable via Doha as a transiting point. The minimum stay is three days and maximum stay is one month with the exception of Australia which is three months, it stated.

Blackout dates during this promotion are from December 18 to 23, 2013 and January 2 to 12, 2014.

In 2013, Qatar Airways launched eleven destinations to date - Gassim (Saudi Arabia), Najaf (Iraq), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Chicago (USA), Salalah (Oman), Basra (Iraq), Sulaymaniyah (Iraq), Chengdu (China), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Ta'if (Saudi Arabia) and most recently Clark Manila International Airport (Philippines).

Next year, the network will grow further with flights to Sharjah and Dubai World Central (March 1, 2014) and  US cities Philadelphia (April 2, 2014) and Miami (June 10).-TradeArabia News Service
