Additional flights from Bahrain International Airport (BIA) to Egypt will be launched this month to allow 7,626 Egyptian teachers working for the country’s Education Ministry to travel back home for the summer, Bahrain Airport Company said in a statement.

The additional flights to Egypt, which will see the teachers and their families fly for the summer holiday, will commence on June 30 and will be facilitated by Gulf Air and Egypt Air.

The airlines will allow passengers travelling on those flights to check-in early and drop off their luggage one day prior.

Four check-in counters will be available for Gulf Air and Egypt Air passengers from 12:00am until 3:00pm between June 30 and July 3.

The airlines have appealed to passengers on the additional flights to arrive at the airport two hours prior to departure. - TradeArabia News Service
