Danat Al Ain's Indian dining outlet gets top recognition

AL AIN, July 31, 2017

Indian Restaurant Tanjore, located in Danat Al Ain Resort, is this year’s World Luxury Restaurant Awards Country Winner.

A favourite Indian restaurant of residents and guests of the Garden City because of its flavourful and traditional North Indian cuisine, Tanjore Restaurant has been recognised at the annual World Luxury Spa & Restaurant Awards held in Hanoi, Vietnam where the crème de la crème of the luxury wellness and fine dining industries from more than 50 countries gathered for an evening of luxury, glamour and style.

Setting the basis for service industry standards around the globe, the World Luxury Restaurant Awards pride itself on providing true recognition to luxury restaurants in their relevant categories during its annual voting phase. Votes are generated through various marketing channels from guests, showcasing yet again the true value of service excellence.

The Award aims to highlight special features of the restaurants, thereby increasing competition globally and ultimately raising the level of food quality and the standards of service in the luxury restaurant industry.

Ahmed Margoushy, general manager, Danat Al Ain Resort, said: “Being awarded the World’s Luxury Indian Restaurant in the UAE is a great achievement for my team. Their efforts in striving to provide outstanding service to our guests, who are looking for the best dining experience, from the menu choices to food presentation and the ambience, are truly commendable. This is a very important award for us because it does not only involve voting but a whole lot of other factors such as the brand, location and overall guest satisfaction.”

Set in the idyllic five-star Danat Al Ain Resort, Tanjore as the name indicates specializes in tandoori and North Indian food. The atmosphere displays a colourful, rustic setting, with a décor that reflects a mix of North India with a hint of Arabic. The restaurant has neat alcove seating for guests looking for a bit more privacy. Diners can also watch the chefs busy in the kitchen as they cook your food behind huge glass windows. - TradeArabia News Service
