Jabal Omar wins licence to operate 4th tower of Makkah hotel

MAKKAH, May 30, 2024

Saudi-based Jabal Omar Development Company has announced that it has been granted the licence by the Ministry of Tourism to operate the fourth tower of Jabal Omar Jumeirah hotel in Makkah with a five-stars rating. 
 
This is the last tower within Jabal Omar Jumeirah, a major hotel property in the Saudi city. It comprises 282 luxurious and modern style rooms and suites in addition to three restaurants, separate prayer room for female guests and meeting room, said Jabal Omar in its filing to the Saudi bourse Tadawul.
 
Designed by top architects Fosters + Partners, the Jabal Omar Jumeirah property comprises four towers with each tower containing 19 hotel floors located adjacent directly to the main mosque. Once operational, it will boasts a total of 1,123 luxury hotel rooms and suites, it stated.
 
On the financial impact, Jabal Omar said the operation of the hotel will have a positive impact on the company's revenues during this year.
 
The top Saudi developer had in August last year won the licence for operation of the first tower followed by the second and third tower early this year in January and March respectively.-TradeArabia News Service
