The Saudi Power Procurement Company has prequalified 13 utility project developers including global players EDF, Kepco, Mitsubishi and Sumitomo as well as regional heavyweights Acwa and Taqa for the third round of Conventional Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects based on CCGT technology.
