Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, operated by Cluster2 Airports, has welcomed its first 2026 seasonal direct flight from Sochi, Russia, operated by Azimuth Airlines, boosting weekly international connectivity and expanding the airport’s route network.
Cluster2 Airports has achieved a major milestone after 18 of its airports received Level One Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation (AEA) from Airports Council International (ACI), recognising progress in improving accessibility for passengers with disabilities.
Several airports within Saudi Arabia’s Cluster 2 Airports have earned Airport Carbon Accreditation from the Airports Council International (ACI), demonstrating their growing commitment to environmental sustainability at different stages of progress.
Cluster2 Airports, which operates 22 airports across Saudi Arabia, reported remarkable performance in 2025, welcoming over 19.9 million passengers—an 11% increase from the previous year. They also handled more than 164,000 flights, a 7% rise, with 87.9% of departures and 87.4% of arrivals operating on schedule.
The Saudi Tourism Authority and the Cluster2 Airports signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen integration between the aviation and tourism sectors, aiming to enhance the tourism experience across the Kingdom.
The Cluster2 Airports company, which operates 22 airports across various regions of Suadi Arabia, has been nominated for several categories in the Skytrax World Airport Awards.
